16th and High

Punks standing around before the show begins
Batman's up front waiting on the band to go
All hell breaks loose as the band begins to play
It's not a fucking anthem, just another fucking day
All the punks and skins are dancing, having fun
swilling down the beer to the band on the stage
But, out in the Alley, testosterone starts to flow
Just a bunch of assholes, just another frat
16th and High there's going to be a fight tonight
There's going to be a fight down at 16th and High
16th and High there's going to be a fight tonight
All my friends are down at 16th and High
All the punks and skins are lined up on the street
facing off with jock boys who want to beat the freaks
all the punks are piss drunk and ready to go
the skins are excited because there is going to be a row
The frat kids are pumped, too late to back down
the only thing to stop this now is the siren sound
everyone is facing off there in the street
down at 16th and High where we all meet
16th and High there's going to be a fight tonight
There's going to be a fight down at 16th and High
16th and High there's going to be a fight tonight
All my friends are down at 16th and High
you better be ready for a fight tonight
punk kids and frat boys are lining up to fight
16th and High there's going to be a fight tonight
There's going to be a fight down at 16th and High
16th and High there's going to be a fight tonight
All my friends are down at 16th and High

Good for the Economy
03:28
|
|||
Up in the morning and off to work
Work all day as a number for a jerk
I have to wonder if this is the best it can be
Home late once again
Not enough time for the important things
I have to consider if this is how it should be
They say it’s good for the economy
Toiling away 12 hours a day
End up working half my life away
While death comes ripping after me
Weekend comes, got to work again
Seven days a week it’s always the same
Home late once again, just in time for bed
This is not how I imagined my life
I think my younger self would kick my ass
When he found me wasting away for a wage
They say it’s good for the economy
Toiling away 12 hours a day
End up working half my life away
While death comes ripping after me
Monday morning you know it’s all the same
Saturday, Sunday nothing changes
They say no pain no gain
But it seems a lot more like no gain for pain
Maybe it’s time to take control
Start living my life for me
Take a hint from David, Johnny, and Jello
But something tells me I’ll be back again
They say it’s good for the economy
Toiling away 12 hours a day
End up working half my life away
While death comes ripping after me
